Questions every budding entrepreneur should ask thyself…
August 19, 2009 | In: A strong urge to blog..., Life, Startups
So after much a long time, I am back to spending time reading, again. I’m not a voracious reader – but I do have a few select titles which I always wanted to read. And while watching David Heinemeier Hansson interviewing Timothy Ferris, I realized that I do need to push “The 4 hour work week” on the top of my reading stack – so i did
– much thanks to VrOOm for getting the copy for me.
So I’m at chapter 3 and it ends by asking some very important questions, which every budding entrepreneur (who’s been waiting for his/her golden moment to jump in) should ask thyself. In posts following this, I am going to try to answer these as honestly and as vividly as possible for me.
Here they are…
Try your answers, if you too fall in the “budding entrepreneur” category.
- Define your nightmare, the absolute worst that could happen if you did what you are considering?
- What steps could you take to repair the damage or get things back on the upswing, even if temporarily?
- What are the outcomes or benefits, both temporary and permanent, of more probable scenarios?
- If you were fired from your job today, what would you do to get things under financial control?
- What are you putting off, out of fear?
- What is it costing you – financially, emotionally and physically – to postpone action?
- What are you waiting for?
My posts that will follow, will try to explore my life on how/why my plans are held back – even if it means disclosing things I would generally not discuss. Honest to the core…
Good luck Maku

Hey Makoooos,
Thankoo very much for appreciating that [:D]
oops…I forgot, this is not orkut
These are quite interesting questions, we should have an answer to these. I ve thought about these at times, but I now believe that I should have those answers tangible by writing those on a notepad or type it on our virtual notepad or..wherever.. but do it.
Wish u a lot of learning and ultimately as you have nice way of sharing knowledge in our everyday discussions, may u bring in a lot of those thoughts back to me in whatever little time we’ll have going forward.
All the best again!
Let us keep moving towards out targets
